"Coolie No. 1 had generated immense anticipation as one of the most awaited films of the year and was initially scheduled for a theatrical release. However, the onset of the pandemic disrupted all plans, leaving the film's production team with remaining scenes to shoot. Once the lockdown restrictions were lifted, the team swiftly traveled to Goa to complete the filming process. This movie is a remake of the 1995 film of the same title, which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles.

In the past, various stringent measures have been taken against the website, but it has been observed that the individuals behind it consistently establish a new domain each time the existing Tamilrockers site is blocked. If they face a ban, they promptly create a new domain and circulate pirated versions of movies. In the case of major theater releases, Tamilrockers is notorious for leaking these films just hours after they premiere on the big screen."
